I Choose Peace Academy is a camp designed to nurture and cultivate the greatness in every individual. All students receive tools to identify bullying and mistreatment as well as the resources to be part of the solution and offer assistance.
Each student chooses an area they are passionate about when it comes to bully prevention and designs an action plane to take into their community to offer solutions.
All youth leave as Certified Peace Panthers, ready and willing to take their tools for peace building and bully prevention into the larger communities.
For Ages 10-13 years.

About the Facilitator
Tisha Marina Bernard, M.A. Certified Peace Ambassador, Founder and Creative Director
Tisha Marina Bernard, M.A, is an educator, youth justice advocate, and professional dancer. As a Bully Prevention Specialist, she works with schools, parents and communities nationwide to empower youth to be part of the solution to creating safe schools.
Tisha is a featured artist in the upcoming documentary, The Hooping Life, a film displaying the tremendous positive influences the hoop has had on people’s lives. She is the recipient of the 2009 Non-Violence Local Hero Award from Common Peace, Center for the Advancement of Non-Violence, and is determined to one day earn the Nobel Peace Prize!
