Youth and Family Ministry

As a spiritual youth community, we are here to serve the next stage of a child’s evolution, the recognition of their Oneness with the Spirit.

Our purpose is to be a place of love for our children to fully embody their divine nature. Our goal is to create an environment where each child can have a realization of God. Using the tools of affirmative prayer, meditation and service, we practice the principles of New Thought Ancient Wisdom as a way of life.

We are here to draw forth the Divine in every child.

The Agape Youth Community
Sunday Services:     8:30am and 11:00am
Wednesday Service:     6:45pm

Infants – Ages 0 to 2
Preschool/Kindergarten – Ages 3 to 5
Primary – Ages 6 to 9
Preteen – Ages 10 to 13
Teen – Ages 14 to 19
Young Adults – Ages 20 to 28

Programs offered include:

  Monthly theme driven activities

• Children’s Prayer Ministry
  Licensed Practitioners pray with children or parents. Conduct a Prayer Circle on the 4th Sunday of each month.
  • We offer three ways to place a child/teen on our community’s prayer list to receive daily prayer from a licensed prayer practitioner for a period of 90 days.
    Call (310) 348-1260 x1310 and leave the child’s/teen’s full name, age, and the purpose for which you wish prayer.
    Every 4th Sunday Youth and Family hosts a Prayer Circle Meeting for our youth at Agape, 1:30pm in Room 5.
    Licensed prayer practitioners are Also available for praying with parents.
• Youth Revelations Conference
  Annual Agape Program that features youth transformational workshops and activities. For more information, please visit Revelation Conference.  
• Mentoring Program
  Young men ages 10-18 
  Young women ages 14-20 
  Support and guide our young people on their journey to adulthood
• Children’s Choir and House Band
  Ages 5 to 13. Perform at Agape and around the Los Angeles area.
• Agape Performing Arts Conservatory
  Children will learn to vision their artistic expression. We will focus on acting, dance, singing, writing, spoken word, audition technique and more (2 year program)
• Family Fun Night 
  An evening of family fun featuring magicians, puppets, music, food and more.
• Healthy Snacks
  We service organic nutritionally dense whole foods. It is our goal to serve food that nourishes the body and sustains the whole child.
• Parent Classes & Workshops
  Regularly we schedule parent forums and workshops
• Wednesday Night Tutoring
  Academic assistance with English, Math and writing - Coming Soon, Please Check Back
• Ancient Wisdom Stories
  Readings and artistic expression of sacred writings. Presentation of stories is customized to the age of the child.
• College Connections
  College prep program for high school and junior high school age children

• Meditation Class 
  This class teaches our youth how to practice meditation for use in daily life and to live in the presence of now. In the class children will learn how to center self and align body, mind, and spirit. The process of breath work and various meditation techniques - Coming Soon, Please Check Back
• Teen Writing Program
  A self discovery process through writing.
• Youth Empowerment Retreats - Coming Soon, Please Check Back
  Transformational workshops and seminars
• Movie Nights 
  Inspirational, thought-provoking films from around the world
• Agape Academy
  Currently in the visioning phase for an Academy for grades K-12. An academy that provides a strong academic environment and incorporates New Thought Ancient Wisdom teachings.
