Youth and Family

Our purpose is to be a place of love for our children to fully embody their divine nature. Our goal is to create an environment where each child can have a realization of God. Using the tools of affirmative prayer, meditation and service, we practice the principles of New Thought Ancient Wisdom as a way of life.

We are here to draw forth the Divine in every child.

Common Thread flyer

Our theme for January 2014 is “Peace: Blessed Are The Peacemakers”. As part of our celebration of peace, the Agape Youth & Family Ministry will take an in-depth look at the major religions and The Common Thread that runs through all of them. Everyone in our Children and Youth Village will get an opportunity to explore the culture, the music, the symbols, and the sacred literature of five major religions in our society. We are excited to welcome guest speakers, singers and artists from these different religions into our Agape Youth community to share their gifts, knowledge and experience.

The children will interact with members of the various local spiritual communities each Sunday through a brief introduction followed by traditional prayer, songs, dances and chants. Also, the children will have the opportunity to taste the food special to each culture.

We will celebrate the following traditions throughout January:
Week 1: New Thought Ancient Wisdom
Week 2: Buddhism
Week 3: Offspring of Abraham – Judaism/Christianity/Islam
Week 4: Hinduism

So bring your children and teenagers each Sunday for this exciting journey
Peace and blessings,

Rev. Leon Campbell – Director, Agape Youth Village

Happy Holy days Odyssey,

I pray you enjoy this season of Love, Joy and the Birthing of your God gifts and talents.
2013 has been a Wonderful year. Thank you for attending and supporting Odyssey.
May this Holy day bring you a remembrance of the Divine Love within you being born anew today. The Love that you share daily is the fulfillment of the great way-shower and through this Love you serve humanity.Thank you for being the gift you were created to be. Happy Holy days!

Our next meeting for Odyssey will be January 24th. We will have our Burning Bowl Ceremony in which we release that which no longer serves and embraces the riches of the new year.
